new faces in perm + big contributions

​Last but definitely not least, Ellie has moved from TIC to set up a Precision Medicine division - something that she did previously for seven years and is already making waves in signing a $300,000 container. Amazing work!

 

We've also had Aaron do his first deal after only moving to TIC in January, so brilliant work from him.

 

Cleantech recovered from what was a slow start in January - which is understandable with all of the recent changes that have happened in the US. But they had an unbelievable March and have set themselves up for a blinding Q2. Stand out performances from Blaze hitting the A-Team on £112K - joining Reece who lso hit in the A-Team with an L3 client relationship with Form Energy and personally billing £70K.

 

Moving forward into Q2. It's all about consistency, consistency of job flow, but also consistency of doing the basics well.

 

 I hope everyone has an amazing Q2 and that more people smash the A-Team!

​Hi, I'm Kay – Strativ’s newest member of the Ops Board and sales leader for the Perm Business Unit 2, which consists of Cleantech and TIC and the newer divisions: Fintech, Precision Medicine and most recently Aerospace & Defence.

 

We've welcomed loads of new faces into London this quarter.

 

So, a massive shout out to our amazing TA team and our L&D team for the brilliant feedback around onboarding.

 

We've had Max and Toby joining forces with Josh to become a powerhouse in Fintech. James, an ex-colleague of mine, and Francesca have joined TIC.

 

Harry, another ex colleague of mine, and Nick have reunited and relaunched the Aerospace & Defence division across the US and Europe, with Harry focusing on US and Nick focusing on Europe -  working really closely with contract delivery and client solutions.

STRATIV SOLUTIONS + CONTRACTS

What a start to the year for Strativ Solutions & Contracts – some brilliant wins and record-breaking momentum already in Q1.

Huge shout out to Jess Hilton for landing an L3 with Mondo – great work.

 

George Coe followed closely behind with a cracking win at Sceye. And let’s not forget the fantastic work on the RPO with Form Energy – part two already flying!

More embedded have been seats secured with Anduril – strong delivery there once again. Big mention for Tilford and Emma Alston. It's been a record month for delivery. Huge well done to Jade Austin and the team!

Looking ahead, our strategy is clear: account-based sales. We’ve got embedded seat pitches and RPOs rolling through the pipeline. Watch this space.

A warm welcome to Cait Kennedy, who joined us in Q1 – great to have you on board! We’ve also welcomed Nick Warpole to the team, and Ben Prince has officially stepped into a leadership role as we continue to regularise and strengthen our market structure.

With a watertight plan in place and a strong Q1 behind us, we’ve had some standout performances, new customers coming on board, and we’re ready to smash our record again for WGP added.

MC UPDATES 

 MC Projects - bullhorn deep dive

There’s been so much incredible work done throughout Mission Control, but let’s start with the BIG ONE… Bullhorn.

 

Led by Megan, this was a huge project - which we've completed in double fast time.

The migration began back in January, with the team focusing on mapping fields, creating news ones and migrating all of our Vincere data over to the new platform.

Then came the Analytics, scorecards (to help you better understand this data) and an automation project which is already having an impact cleansing all our data.

There's also incredible work done to ensure we plug in Zero to to Bullhorn and how we manage contractors through it as well. There's been so much going on.

It's been an amazing job from by the Mission Control team - especially Megan for brilliant project management, Amarjit and Emma Leeper who have been crucial to the project.

And the support from Sales has been great too, for example, the contributions from Antonia, Kieran & Millsy.

I could go on - in terms of everyone who's involved - but it's just a great example of collaboration, communication and camaraderie.

Thank you to everyone involved.

Q2 is all about embedding Bullhorn. So, let's go smash it!

Shout out to Sam Robinson, who released his article & launched his social campaign about exciting Carbon Capture start-ups!

 

He's built strong relationships with 5 new CEOs & Founders that collaborated with him on the content.

But that's not all... he has actively used the content to diversify his BD outreach. 

This has led to multiple embedded pitched, plus jobs added with 4 new clients: Greenlyte, Holocene, Sirona Technologies & Skytree.

 

As a bi-product of this campaign, his personal brand has had a major boost; positioning him as a true market expert with an awesome network. This has led to multiple inbound messages & new relationships.

Edie & Becca also attended a night at HER Recruitment Network. Speaking with recruitment leaders about how we pave the path for female recruitment managers.

We had an awesome time celebrating #InternationalWomensDay, sharing stories & tips about how we all can #AccerlerateAction.

Becca gave 5 lucky men simulated period cramps, while interviewing them about gender equality at work.

It definitely gave them a fresh perspective.

And highlighted one of the many inequalities that still exist today.

(It wasn't all about periods).

There’s been a real growth mindset vibe throughout. New starters this year have absolutely smashed it. They’ve shown incredible resilience, eagerness to learn, and a true commitment to continuous improvement. Challenges? Just opportunities in disguise!

 

To everyone I’ve worked with, your adaptability, drive to learn and openness to feedback have not gone unnoticed. This is only the beginning of a really exciting journey.

My focus in Q1 was to roll out a refreshed and engaging Onboarding experience, seamlessly incorporating the new Playbook and Standards. This enhancement added 5 brand-new training sessions to our already robust 22-step live training program.

 

The feedback has been incredibly positive – Onboarding has been well received and the journey for new starters is continuously being improved, setting them up, more confidently than ever before.

 

Additionally,  I’ve been taking the time to understand the specific needs and skill gaps within individual teams. This insight is shaping how I tailor support and development strategies to ensure each team receives what they need to thrive.
